When entering think-cell's license key manually, it is saved when successfully closing the think-cell license key window with OK. Follow these steps to ensure the license key can be saved correctly:

1. Make sure that no hanging processes prevent think-cell from writing the license key

Hey Cortana' Voice Activation

The 'Hey Cortana' Voice Activation (VA) feature allows users to quickly engage the Cortana experience outside of their active context (i.e., what is currently on screen) by using their voice. Users often want to be able to instantly access an experience without having to physically interact touch a device. For phone users this may be due to driving in the car and having their attention and hands engaged with operating the vehicle. For an Xbox user this may be due not wanting to find and connect a controller. For PC users, this may be due to rapid access to an experience without having to perform multiple mouse, touch and/or keyboard actions, e.g. a computer in the kitchen.

Voice activation provides always listening speech input via predefined key phrase(s) or 'activation phrases'. Key phrases may be uttered by themselves ('Hey Cortana') as a staged command, or followed by a speech action, for example, 'Hey Cortana, where is my next meeting?', a chained command.

The term Keyword Detection, describes the detection of the keyword by either hardware or software.

Keyword only activation occurs when only the Cortana keyword is said, Cortana starts and plays the EarCon sound to indicate that it has entered listening mode.

A chained command describes the ability of issuing a command immediately following the keyword (like “Hey Cortana, call John”) and have Cortana start (if not already started) and follow the command (starting a phone call with John).

Microsoft provides an OS default keyword spotter (software keyword spotter) that is used to ensure quality of hardware keyword detections and to provide the Hey Cortana experience in cases where hardware keyword detection is absent or unavailable.

The 'Learn my voice' feature

The 'Learn my voice' feature allows the user to train Cortana to recognize their unique voice. This is accomplished by the user selecting Learn how I say 'Hey Cortana' in the Cortana settings screen. The user then repeats six carefully chosen phrases that provide a sufficient variety of phonetic patterns to identify the unique attributes of the users voice.

When voice activation is paired with 'Learn my voice', the two algorithms will work together to reduce false activations. This is especially valuable for the meeting room scenario, where one person says 'Hey Cortana' in a room full of devices. This feature is available only for Windows 10 version 1903 and earlier.

Part 2: How to view iPhone photos on Mac with iCloud.com

Before you can view iPhone pictures on Mac via iCloud.com, you need to turn on iCloud Photo Library on your iPhone. In order to do that, please follow steps below:

1. On your iPhone with iOS 10.3 or later, go to “Settings.” Tap on your name and then “iCloud.” In the list of iCloud, tap on “Photos.” In iOS 10.2 or earlier, go to “Settings” and then “iCloud.” Tap on “Photos.”

2. Once you are in the screen of “Photos,” turn on iCloud Photo Library.

3. When you turn on iCloud Photo Library, your images on your iPhone will automatically start uploading to your iCloud.

When the upload finishes, you can start following steps below to view iPhone pictures on Mac.

1. Open a browser in your PC and go to icloud.com. Log in to iCloud with your Apple ID and password.

2. Click on “Photos” to view your iPhone photos in iCloud.

3. Select all the photos you want to download to your Mac, then click on the cloud-like icon to start downloading your photos to your Mac.

4. Go to “Downloads” or the the folder where you specify as your download destination. You will find your photos there and can view photos from iPhone on Mac.

I was curious to know how many of you use the ACS Standardized test for your final exam. The wonderful thing about inorganic chemistry is that is a broad discipline, but the challenge with designing a course depends on your focus. As an undergrad, the course I took focused only on main group chemistry. I didn't learn about organometallics until grad school. Why can't ACS design various inorganic standardized tests? For instance one test specifically for organometallics? Perhaps another that is half organometallics and the other half coordination chemistry? Thoughts?

I have used the ACS Inorganic Chemistry exam as a final exam in my Advanced Inorganic course periodically. My students have had two semesters of inorganic from me at that point, and I think it is a good way for them to judge how they do on a standardized exam. Good practice for those taking the GRE or going on to graduate school, especially as I don't ask very many multiple choice type questions on my normal exams in inorganic. My understanding is that some graduate programs give the ACS exams as entrance exams to assess if a student needs to take any coursework in a particular field of chemistry.

I usually go through and carefully code the exam and record both their 'raw score' and their score on those questions that they should know based on what I teach. So, if we didn't talk about iron-sulfur proteins, then a random question on iron-sulfur proteins does not overly penalize them. Their 'Maggie-normalized' score is what factors into their final grade.

I have recently found it helpful when writing letters for grad schools as I can refer very specifically to how the student did on the ACS exam and compare to national norms as well as talk about how they did on other course work and on my exams.

No, it's not a perfect exam, but it sure is easy to grade! :-)

The question is, can the dice be manipulated and thrown in a certain manner to produce a regularly controlled throw? Some once-skeptical researchers are conceding that more testing is needed. By throwing the dice in the same manner, each time, some shooters get into a rhythm that produces monstrous rolls.

The Sevens to Rolls Ratio

There are 36 combinations that can be made from of a pair of dice and six ways to attain a seven. This means that, with a random roll, the mathematical probability of a seven appearing will be once in every six rolls, which is a 'Sevens to Rolls Ratio (SRR)' of 6. If you throw the dice 42 times and roll seven 7's, you have a Sevens to Rolls Ratio of 6 (42/7 = 6). If, however, you have one non-random roll and throw seven 7s in 43 rolls, you have an SRR of 6.14. How to Control the Dice

Controlled throwing consists of several components. How you set the dice can affect their outcome. One of the most popular sets is the 3-Vm where you have threes in a 'V' formation. This gives you the hard six (3 and 3) on top, the six, (5 and 1) on the front, the eight on one (6 and 2) on the back and the Hard eight (4 and 4) on the bottom. There are no sevens showing on the dice with this set.

After setting the dice you must use a smooth delivery that is strong enough to get the dice to the end of the table but without too much force that will cause them to bounce hard against the back of the table. You also want to make sure that you follow through with your throw. You want to practice so you are throwing the dice the same way each time. Your goal is to throw numbers while avoiding the seven. Throwing the same way can produce repeating numbers.

The controlled throwing of dice is a physical skill which requires hours of practice to master. It is not easy and some players never master it. Perfecting a controlled throw is not enough to guarantee regular wins at the craps table. You will also need to learn how to bet properly to take advantage of your edge.

I'm sure this thread has been made before, but let's all discuss our best rolls. I just missed out on an hour and twenty minute roll the other day, where the shooter made 16 points before getting a 7. It got me thinking what my odds are of seeing such a roll in my lifetime, and dreaming of that monster roll that always eludes me.
My personal best roll was probably about 30 minutes. I hit about 8 sixes and 8 eights, but it was my first time at a craps table and I was only betting the pass, so I didn't profit much at all. I've been getting killed at the tables and need some happy stories to inspire me to keep going, so any stories about monster rolls you've had/seen would be appreciated.

Anybody with a big roll should try to make note of how many passes he made as well as how many rolls before 7-out [both things if you can].
Just how many minutes, meh.. that might not mean much at a busy table.
As for my best, 4 passes and an unknown number of total rolls before 7-out, so I can't inspire you [although I am happy when any shooter does that!] .
I have been at the table when the shooter has made about 6 passes and rolled so long and so many yo's and 12s than normal that those type bettors, including the field, were ecstatic.
As you can see, I can't be precise either. I plan to be at Harrington sometime next week and there is a daily contest for most rolls before 7-out, 'Monster Roll Craps'. So they ought to be showing rolls for each player and I can count the passes too. I think you've inspired me to make a note of passes in future, any contest or not.

I just got off of a killer roll last night between 1:10a.m. and 2:40 a.m. at Wheeling Island Hotel Casino and Racetrack. I've been gambling less to protect cash because I want to pay mostly cash for my wife's college-related stuff, so I only bought in for $45 and here's what happened:
My first session went fair, but nothing too special. I was betting $5 on the PL with 2x Odds because that is the most Odds they allow. I may or may not have been betting $1.00 on the Fire Bet..don't tell The Wiz!!!
Come-Out Roll Set: 3-4
Point Established Set: Hard-Six
In any event, I established a point of four on my very first roll and made the point about five rolls later, I hit nothing but point numbers during this time. The next Come Out roll saw me establishing a point of eight which I took Odds on and made three rolls later. The following roll saw me establish a point of six which I made approximately ten rolls later. After that, I threw a Craps Three on the CO, and then established a point of Six, but sevened-out about fifteen rolls later.
In total, I went +$25, +$17, +$17, -$5, -$15 for a net gain of +$39. I made two PL Dealer Bets of $2 each during this time, and the Dealers won on both of those, so they were +$8.
I now had $80 in chips and decided to play Three-Card Poker because, I don't know why. I sat at first base and was kind of trying to hole-card, but either the dealer was pretty good or I have no goddamn idea how to hole-card, could be both. In any event, I was betting $5 on the Ante and got dealt A-K-x on my first hand, but the dealer beat me with a pair. The following hand, I got dealt K-Q-6, but the dealer (again) beat me with a pair. I was down to $60 in chips and a little bit irritated, but then I had hands good enough to play three times in a row, but the dealer never qualified, so I was back up to $75. I then played another hand in which I had K-Q-x, but the dealer beat me with an Ace.
At that point, I was back to $65 in Chips, and so I decided that Three Card Poker sucks and tipped the dealer $5.00 and quit playing. I now had $60 in chips.
I went back to the Craps Table thinking that I might still have a little left in the old hand, besides, Roulette was full and that's what I really wanted to play. This session could have been something special, but it wasn't to be. There was a guy about my age n]]>
